How it works

SSP Injection Methods

The SSP stands for Spread Soak Production Method. This technique injects super-IOR into producing wells then soaks by shutting the wells for 2-5 days before the well is reopened for production. The chemical injected into producing wells will move through the water channeling. In order to have a good oil displacement and recovery, a new displacement technique called SSP™ (Spread Soak Production) has been studied in our research Lab. The chemical fluid must have a contact with the oil trap in order to affect or influence the oil and its surface properties. The contact between oil phase and the chemical must be performed by SSP injection technique into the reservoir. The SSP is a technique that makes the contact between oil phase and the chemical in oil reservoir is close to perfect.
